Las tres pirámides de Memphis, situadas en Giza, un barrio de El Cairo son las más famosas aunque no las únicas en Egipto.Decenas de ellas se desparraman Nilo arriba en un período constructivo que abarca casi mil años. Keops y Kefren son las más grandes construcciones del hombre en toda la historia si exceptuamos la Gran Muralla China.

The three pyramids in Memphis, situated in Gizeh, a district of El Cairo, are the most famous but there are most of them in Egypt. Tens of them rise and spread up the river Nile in a constructive period that spanned almost a millenium. Keops and Kefren are the bigger constructions in the history of man, besides the Great Chinese Wall.
