Convention Center and Samuel Beckett Bridge, designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava
Ireland, one of the most Catholic countries in the world, has got in its capital two cathedrals, curiously, no Catholics. The 2nd, below, St. Patrick, the beginning of its construction was in 1192 and is home to the Protestant church. The first, the Church of Christ, is the Anglican and began in 1186. To the left of it, housed the hall of the synod, which now houses the Dublinia Exhibition on the lifestyle of the Vikings.
